Heard this track randomly yesterday flipping through radio stations. I forgot how much I liked Gang Starr in the past. Nice & Smooth is a nice bonus and makes this song totally classic early 90s.

This album is so good it's ridiculous. NAS belongs in hall of fame. Illmatic changed East Coast Hip Hop forever.

This album is a classic and the title track is one of the best rap songs ever in my opinion - it is still on my Iphone/Ipod and always will be. The sample of I shot the sheriff by Eric Clapton gives the song total mass market appeal. EPMD is forgotten about but Stictly Business, Headbanger and others should be more revered in my opinion.

Another great album from the early/mid 90s. Cypress Hill carved a sound out that even to today is different from the rest of the hip hop world. If you haven't listed to this album in a while, dust it off... it's still so good from cover to cover.

Dre's sampling and mixing of classic rock with soul (things like Steve Miller Band and Parliament Funkadelic) is just one of the many reasons I love this album. These guys weren't the best lyricists but this is where Dre proved his chops and we know the longevity of his career. A must.

In my opinion, the best flow next to Biggie.

This album is all about jazz beats. Too bad that sampling is financially unattainable now for hip hop artists. They just don't make music like this and the whole Native Tongues Family. These guys turned me on to my current love of Jazz and classic soul.

Such an influential album on early hip hop, a must have.

Whenever I hear tracks from 3 Feet High & Rising it makes me smile and feel like I'm in 8th grade again. Just a classic, fun, melodic hip hop album that makes me reminisce.
