The best Italian in Hoboken and very reasonably priced. BYOB.

Arron - I have done family & friend group dinners at this restaurant. Large space inside and nice atmosphere. Food is great and fairly generous portions at moderate prices. Have always been taken care of here also. Service is very good.

One of my favorites. Went to Otto's for a wine & cheese pairing last night and then dinner afterwards. Great place to hang out at the bar as well. Food & wine consistently good and very inexpensive. Just usually a long wait.

Manhattan quality (and unfortunately prices) Italian food found in Hoboken. Augustino's is a tiny place but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is always fun... Must try in Hoboken.

One of my all time fav East Village Italian spots. Always great food and a great vibe in the place. They are one of the best delivery spots in the East Village to boot. Can't go wrong.

Rob - I just went to Rosemary's Enoteca & Trattoria in W.Village for the first time last week and my friends and I had a great time and the food & wine were great. They don't take reservations, but they have a bar area towards the back with bar tables you can hang out at until your table is ready if necessary.

Very kid friendly with good food for both adults and kids. Interesting/good pizzas, salads and pasta.

One of a kind newer NYC institution. They take reservations now so if you plan on going call ahead. Very close to lombardis in the same Nolita/little Italy hood.

They serve really wonderful italian noodles and fried chicken with melting honey source.

Fantastic restaurant. I find Chiarello to be super annoying as a celebrity chef personally, but this restaurant delivered the goods when I ate there a few years back. Def worth considering if you are going to be out that way and can't get into the French Laundry

I recommended this place to Saro last week. It's not super boozey but it has a great brunch and is big enough to work for a larger group. If you wanted to, you could walk over to Fat Cat on Christopher street after to play games and get your booze on. It opens early.

Technically it's in Queens, but it's right on the border. Great food, great service.

This is more Meatpacking but i love this place... Great food, great service. Perfect for a night out w the lady.

It was admittedly a while back when I was in Napa, but I had a ridiculously good Bacon and Egg appetizer here that blew me away. It came with a nice fatty/salty hunk of pork belly. I dream of it often! Not sure if it's still on the menu, worth a look

Outstanding food

Super chic, delicious food and they have a beautiful private room.

Great food and right by Lincoln Center so easy to get to show there or in theatre district afterwards. Plenty of seating inside, outside and at the bar.

Just went here for dinner and it was amazing! Delicious homemade pastas, all of the ravioli are insane...

They are open for lunch now - Tuesdays through Saturdays...

Italian is always a great option for group dining. Nonna's is basically like an italian grandmother adopted you for a day. A ton of delicious food for the table, friendly staff, and good relaxed vibe. Good value too. Worth looking into. Enjoy.

This is the winner. It's in the west village which is the Manhattan brunch neighb. Super rustic interior. GREAT food. It's pretty big so I haven't run into the infamous 45 minute wait yet. And I think you'll find a cup of espresso up to your standards. four stars!

This place has fantastic food. It can be hard to get a reservation sometimes, but the food is fantastic and totally worth it in my opinion.

I haven't been in about 2 years, but I used to hit this place often for business dinners. The food is fantastic, they can handle decent sized groups. Try the veal milanese...If you are looking for Italian, I'd def consider Campagnola.

Excellent, interesting versions of the classics plus some new stuff. Very good food and good for kids.

Bomb A$$ sandwiches.... Definitely my favorite in Hoboken... Maybe my favorite in all of Northern Jersey. These guys have the right meat to cheese ratio (Very Important) and don't overdo the toppings. A must try if you haven't... I swear by them and those who know me, know I pray at the alter of sandwiches!

Great deli to stop at on the way out east from NY. Pizza, sandwiches and lots of prepared food. Way more than just Italian stuff.

Old school Italian. Great food. I havent been there in years but the place is 100 years old... I'm sure it's still great. Reasonably priced too.

Not an italian restaurant, but quiet enough to talk business during lunch with plenty of tables on two floors. Decent traditional pub fair and salads/paninis. In case no luck with the italian place.

Carmines is acceptable... I wouldnt call it great, but it'll get the job done.
